Watermelon Sangria for One

Whenever I visit my favorite happy hour spot, I always order sangria. It makes decision-making easier because I don’t have to choose between a cocktail or wine. With more virtual happy hours during quarantine, I found myself missing sangria. The only problem is that most recipes make a pitcher of sangria. I’m not judging those who want a pitcher (it’s delicious, I get it), but I love that this recipe is perfect for days when I want just one.

The tastiest part of sangria is the fruit that’s been soaking in the liquid. It’s a fun surprise at the end, and you can get creative with the fruit. Let me know which fruit you choose!

I garnished my drink with a watermelon wedge, but it took 3 tries to get it right. I attribute my struggle to the sips of sangria I stole while shooting the video :).
